Well Christmas is over and this bah-humbug guy had an o.k. Christmas. The build-up and stress leading up to the day wasn't enjoyable, but I did enjoy visiting family.
After the holiday J and I went to Victoria for a couple of days to get away. Upon our return, we found out that my mother's apartment was on fire. (The big fire in Surrey.) Fortunately, she was at work.
She made it into the province. I scanned the newspaper but am having some difficulty getting the photo's on the blog. I hope to have something up soon. Unlike many of the residents that are now homeless, she had insurance. (I should hope so as she works for an Insurance Company!).
Everything will work out.
